We took a break from all the hot convention action to do a photo shoot with our friend Lauren from BiCoastal Talent. We had a great time and took pictures all over downtown. Here are a couple from the session:

2008 Convention Report

Hi everyone! We are currently in the last two days of the 2008 FPP convention. All of the best wedding and portrait photographers from all over Florida are in Orlando this week for the seminars, competition and the parties.

Curt and Stephanie from Nu Visions in Photography hosted a great party downtown on Sunday night, and the costume party last night was interesting to say the least. Why does somebody always end up dressed as the wrong gender?

The work on display was some of the best yet, and the awards banquet tonight will be pretty exciting as all the best images and albums receive their various accolades. We had the pleasure of being on the Salon Display committee so we got to see and handle all the prints and get a close up look at the best work in Florida!

We will update the blog with the news from tonight's banquet and anything else that is going on.

Convention Time Is Here!

Hey Everybody!

The Florida Professional Photographers annual convention starts on Saturday and we are really excited to be a part of it this year. Not only will we get to spend time with great friends and colleagues, but we will be attending seminars, print competition, and of course convention parties!

Photographers spend so much time working that when you get us all together with a few days off, it tends to get a little wild at times. There are some great speakers this year and a huge photography trade show where we can all geek out over the coolest new photography stuff.

We will be updating the blog during the convention to keep everyone up to date on all the exciting stuff we learn and see.

If you are a huge nerd and actually care what all the best photographers in the state will be doing next week, visit the FPP website. If you are not a nerd then disregard that completely and go hang out with all your cool friends...seriously they are waiting for you.

What's New With Us

Hey everyone, just a quick update from us, we are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Orlando Woman Magazine! We will be working with this amazing local publication by providing our unique style of photography for their editorial pieces and other parts of the magazine.

Orlando Woman is a bi-monthly publication that focuses on social, political, business, fashion and arts from a Woman's perspective. They feature great local businesses and events in every issue, and the best part is that it's free! Scared Safe

Hello again everyone! We had the amazing opportunity yesterday to work with a couple of incredible ladies who have started a company that is doing some great work in the community. Scared Safe Now is a company that is dedicated to using years of experience in broadcast journalism to teach women how to protect themselves from becoming victims of violent crime. I don't mean self-defense, it's all about how to dress, act, park your car, and plenty of other ways to keep yourself from being targeted by a violent criminal.
