Meet Joe.

Joe is a comedian, actor, writer, director and an old friend. We got to hang out with Joe in our new studio over the weekend and he got the honor of being the first person we photographed in the new place. He worked on his new stand-up routine while we grabbed some shots, and here is what we got:

Down Syndrome Association

A few weeks ago, Julie and I agreed to volunteer for the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida's Annual Buddy Walk. We said sure, not knowing what an amazing event it would be. Lake Eola downtown was absolutely packed with people for this event, with all kinds of food, games, face-painting and of course the walking. There were a bunch of teams, I'm not even sure how many, but one team had a hundred and seventy people on it!

We were really touched by the passion and dedication of all of the people who participated. Most of all though, we were moved to see the joy of the families who were there and all the very special people who will benefit from this event.

To find out about the next event from the Down Sydrome Association of Central Florida, or how you can get involved, visit their website.

Enjoy a few of the many images we took while we were there, including the largest team that participated, the volunteers who helped Julie and I organize all the massive group pictures, and some kids having a geat time. And if you look really closely at the big group picture, you will see Bo Outlaw of the Orlando Magic in there, he was there giving his support to the event and taking pictures with all the teams.

Any parents looking for pictures of their children from this event, call us at 321-279-0077 or email info@hughesfioretti.com.

Our New Studio!

We have been looking forward to this day for a while now, and it has finally arrived. Today we move in to our new studio downtown. We got a great spot in the downtown arts district on the second floor of Avalon Island. We are moving in all our stuff, setting up the shooting area and we will have our first session in there tomorrow. Here are some pictures that show a little of the building, our studio (nothing in it yet), and some other cool spots in the Avalon Building. Three tall, beautiful windows for great natural light, killer hardwood floors, and eleven-foot ceilings:
